The easy way to add pictures

First Click on View/Upload Pictures.

  1.  In the upper left click "User Panel".
  2. On the next screen, click "New Picture".
  3. Type a title and description for the pictures.
  4. Click "Upload"  at the bottom.

When it is finished you can view them under View/Upload Pictures.

The hard way but you get your own photo article.

After clicking on Submit News/Pictures:

  1. You may want to type something first in the article editor that pops up. Put your blinking cursor where you want the picture in front or after the text you type.
  2. Then at the bottom left of the text screen you will see an "image" button. After clicking it, you may have to scroll down  using the outside scroll bar in the window to see the "browse" and "start upload" buttons.
  3. First you "browse" and choose the picture on your hard drive.
  4. Then click "start upload".
  5. After the upload is finished, scroll down  using the inside scroll bar to find the thumbnail in the group of pictures.
  6. Then click it to make it highlighted.
  7.  Click "right" or "left" in the "align box" toward the bottom on the right so that your text will wrap around the picture.
  8. Scroll back up using the outside scroll bar to click the insert button.
  9. That adds your picture to your article and takes you back to the edit text screen.  You can move the picture around but it is hard to do.  It is better to click where you want it before you upload the image.
  10. You can resize it by clicking the image icon on the bottom row of the tool bars. Hover over the icons till you see "Image Button"
  11. You can add captions or blog to your hearts content.
  12. Finally, below the article editor about 2 inches, choose a section and category for your article/pictures, choose classmate submissions for section and probably photo articles for category.
  13. Be sure to click save ( in the upper right).

I would say that is all there is to it but that is pretty hard.  With a little perseverance any class of 69 grad can do it!  You can view your article under the category you choose, Photo Articles, What's Happening or Grandchildren.

Good Luck!
